A jar full of beautiful multi-colored aluminum glitter! A popular embellishment on retro Christmas decorations, these hard-to-find colorful aluminum foil flakes add a touch of nostalgia to your holiday craft projects.
This listing is for a jar containing 1.25 oz by weight, which is approximately 1/4 cup by volume. Jar measures 2" x 2". Each square flake measures approximately 1.6mm.
Flakes are soft and light-weight with vibrant and reflective colors of red, green, blue, silver and gold.
To apply aluminum glitter: Paint an even coat of clear-drying craft glue on your item (we like Alleen's Tacky Glue), gently sprinkle on glitter with a spoon. Allow just a few flakes to fall at a time for a light distribution. Any standing flakes can be pressed down with a toothpick if desired. Work over a bowl or paper in order to corral and collect the excess glitter and return it to its jar.
