This is a pack of two (2) wired beads (lataperle) in silver. Package contains: 2 central wired beads with a diameter of 12 mm with 6 branches with a length of 65 mm.
Lataperle are beads in which wires are fused to a central bead. This allows the formation of fancy stars and snowflakes by sliding beads onto the wires to form the branches of the star.
These lataperle consist of 4 firmly fused wires and one longer free wire that is inserted into the bead and thus creates the last two branches.
Please note: Work with beads carefully -- due to rough handling, the wires can tear out of the beads.
It is recommended to leave at least 10mm of free space at the end of each branch above the last bead to allow a loop to be formed with needle nose pliers. It is also recommended to finish each branch with a spacer bead as fragile blown glass beads may be broken during the bending process.
Handmade in the Czech Republic. Central bead is composite.
