Supplies: Spun Cotton Craft Shapes, Glitter, Mushrooms + Fruits, Flowers + Petite Leaves, Stamen, Pine Sprigs, Paint, Paint Brushes, Scissors, Glue (Hot Glue or Clear-Drying Craft Glue)
Step 1: Paint your spun cotton pieces. Let dry.
Step 2: Glue painted pieces together to make desired shapes. Let dry. Roller + Pear Shape = Candle. Roller + Hemisphere = Mushroom.
Step 3: Add glitter by lightly coating with craft glue and sprinkling with glitter. Let dry. We used a light hand to add clear glass glitter to mushrooms and candles and add gold and copper glitter to candle flames.
Step 4: Glue spun cotton into candle clip. Tines of candle clip can be gently bent in or out to accommodate the shape if needed. Let dry completely.
Step 5: Create small mixed groups of flowers, leaves, mushrooms, stamen and berries. Wire stems can be twisted to hold pieces together. Glue to candle clip tines, tucking inside tines if space allows. Let dry.
Step 6: Trim stems from pine sprigs and bend 2-3 into semi circle shapes. Lay sprigs into cup of candle clip. When pleased with position, glue into place. Let dry.
Tips: Spun cotton rollers can be cut with scissors to customize mushroom stem size.
Glue can be used to create "drips" on candles before painting.
Spun cotton pieces have holes -- use a skewer in the hole as a "handle" when painting and drying, too.
Add glitter lightly -- you can always add more later!
